Touring Cuban book fair, in front of the San Felipe Apóstol Cathedral, Puerto Plata
From April 20th to April 23th, 2009
The third edition of the touring Cuban book fair will take place in this city from April 20th to April 23th, according to the informations of the Solidarity Committee and Friends of Cuba in Puerto Plata.
Several local libraries, social and cultural institutions of the province will participate to this event and will receive the support of the cultural department of the Cuba Embassy in Dominican Republic.
The Fair will take place on the Independencia Plaza (Former central park) in front of the San Felipe Apóstol Cathedral, in Puerto Plata.
Pre elimination of Mr Universe 2009, in the hotel Barceló, Puerto Plata

This year, the pre elimination round will take place in Puerto Plata, Saturday April 18th, on the stage of the hotel Barceló Puerto Plata.
The most beautiful bodies of the universe will be exhibited in order to choose the best physical appearance, face and show of international typical clothing.
It will welcome candidates from Italy, Belgic, France, Germany, Spain, Venezuela, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Ecuador, Honduras, Chile, Canada, Brazil, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, India, Haiti, USA, Mexic, Russia, Armenia, Monaco, Panama etc…
