BREAKING NEWS: Puerto Plata.- The Ministry of Public Works advances in the construction of three bridges in the province of Puerto Plata, with an investment exceeding 500 million pesos, while two others are in construction.

The bridges were built in the municipalities of El Mango Yásica on the road that connects Lupoerón to Imbert, and La Isabela to Maimon in the province of Puerto Plata.

The bridge over the river Bajabonico is a Bailey structure type that will solve the problems of communication between the municipalities of Imbert and Luperon to La Isabela, the road that connects communities El Estrecho and Los Vargas.

The structure extends over a length of 166.3m and has an average of 8.23m. It is composed of quad sections, two of 40.50m, 53m and the last 33.69m.

The bridge Bajabonico is built with an investment exceeding 231 million pesos.

On the other hand, the Minister also built the iron bridge in Yásica, El Mango, which is almost completed and is working on filling and rehabilitation of access roads.

The Bridge La Isabelaon his side is the second longest bridge among the five bridges built in the province of Puerto Plata.

Then, on the road to Imbert, Luperon, the Minister of Public Works constructed a bridge of 20m, which should soon be completed.
