The United States compliment Puerto Plata
The USA consul emphasizes the tourist potential of the north coast
BREAKING NEWS : PUERTO PLATA.- The consul of the United States of America in Dominican Republic emphasized the tourist and economic potential of Puerto Plata, and the security levels of the Sosúa, Cabarete, Playa Dorada, Cofersí, Maimón and Luperón zones.
Michael Schmmel said that the dynamism of staff, of private sector and of Tourism Ministry he was able witness in this city, constituted a very important factor for the development of a destination as Puerto Plata.
During the meeting with the undersecretary of tourism for the North Zone, César José de los Santos, Schmmel, emphasized the positive attitude of the governor Eridania Llibre too, and the great work of the general Eduardo Alberto Then.
After listening explanations and informations about the project that the Tourism Minsitry, Francisco Javier García, wants to develop on the north coast, Schmmel complimented the touristic and economic potential of Puerto Plata and its nearby zones.
