
BEAKING NEWS:Puerto Plata.- The Minister of Tourism Francisco Javier Garcia, met with top executives oftour operator Thomas Cook, who will visit for a week destination Dominican Republic, mainly the area of Puerto Plata, with the aim of discovering their potential and sell the product in Germany.
Garcia reported that during the meeting with Thomas Cook, signed the cooperation agreement that will bring those 250 officers traveling to Puerto Plata, and also reaffirmed the agreement that is established between the Ministry of Tourism and the tour operators in Germany. The agreement took Roland Junker, Michael Tenzer, Beatrice Macias, among others.

During the meeting, Garcia was joined by Petra Fernandez Cruz, director of the Tourism Promotion Office (OPT) from Dominican Republic in Germany and Europe market supervisor, and Jose Gabriel Rodriguez, assistant to the Minister.

BEAKING NEWS: Puerto Plata.-Tourism Minister Francisco Javier Garcia said he expected that in any time the responsibility for building the cruise terminal in this city will pass to the Ministry of Tourism. Has indicated that it had a plan to execute in a timely way, construction or reconstruction of the tourist port.
